Step 1: Artwork Check & Pre‑processing
Everything starts with your design. Customers submit logos, text, signatures or hand‑drawn patterns. Our team checks the artwork: adjust line thickness, remove tiny details that will not stamp well, convert the design into high‑contrast black‑and‑white bitmap files. Thin or fuzzy lines are modified to make sure the final stamp will print clearly.

Step 2: Exposure / Etching Preparation
There are two mainstream production methods for rubber stamps: photopolymer exposure and laser engraving.
- Photopolymer rubber stamps (photo‑etched): A transparent negative film is printed from your processed artwork. The film is placed on top of unexposed rubber sheet under UV light. UV light cures the exposed areas, while the covered parts stay soft.
- Laser‑engraved rubber stamps: The digital file is sent directly to a CO₂ laser machine. No film is needed. The laser burns away unwanted rubber material to leave your raised stamp pattern. Laser engraving is great for fast turnaround and complex graphics.
Step 3: Washing & Deep Etching
For photo‑etched stamps: After UV exposure, the rubber sheet is washed. The unexposed soft rubber dissolves away, leaving your design raised above the background base. Deep etching is critical — enough depth prevents ink from touching the surrounding background rubber and avoids messy smudges.
Laser‑engraved rubber directly gets deep grooves around the raised pattern during burning. Excess rubber debris is brushed off.
Step 4: Trimming the Rubber Die
The finished stamp rubber die is cut to size. Workers trim extra margins around your pattern. Each rubber piece is inspected: check for broken lines, missing details or rough edges. Defective pieces will be remade. Only crisp rubber dies move to the next stage.
Step 5: Mounting
The rubber stamp die needs a base for stable hand‑stamping.
- Peel off protective backing from foam adhesive cushion.
- Stick the rubber die onto the foam cushion (the foam helps distribute pressure evenly when you press).
- Mount the foam‑rubber assembly onto wooden handle, acrylic block or plastic handle. Alignment is double‑checked so your pattern sits straight.
Step 6: Quality Test & Final Inspection
Every finished stamp gets a real stamping test. We press the stamp onto ink pad and stamp on paper.
- Check if all text and patterns show complete and sharp.
- Check no background smudge appears.
- Check handle attachment is firm.
If the impression has blurry spots or missing parts, the product will be rejected for re‑production.
Step 7: Packing & Shipping
Qualified rubber stamps are cleaned, put into protective bags or gift boxes, then packed for delivery to customers worldwide.
